  • Their children are now X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus.

A new biography about Elon Musk has revealed that the Tesla CEO shares three children with musician Grimes, according to a book review by The New York Times.

Only two of their children were known to the public beforehand: three-year-old X Æ A-12 and the 20-month-old Exa Dark Sideræl. Their third child's name is Techno Mechanicus, nicknamed Tau.

The biography, titled Elon Musk, was written by Walter Isaacson and is set to be released on 12 September. Isaacson has also written biographies for Steve Jobs, Henry Kissinger and Albert Einstein.

According to the New York Times book review, the biography tries to make sense of Musk. Isaacson shadowed him for two years and had close contact with him during that time. Isaacson refers to Musk as a "man-child".

Grimes and Musk first went public with their relationship in 2018, when they attended the Met Gala together. In 2020, they had their first child.

In 2021, it was reported that the pair broke up, according to People. Later that year, they had their second child via surrogate, with the two getting back together and breaking up again soon after.

Musk is the father of 11 children; the others are Nevada Alexander, Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon and Damian Musk. Elon Musk also had twins with the Neuralink director of operations and special projects, Shivon Zilis, in 2021.
