Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx attended the Houston funeral of George Floyd together on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old, black man died on 25 May as police officer, Derek Chauvin, pressed his knee on his neck. The officer has since been charged with second-degree murder while three other officers have also lost their jobs and been charged with aiding and abetting murder.
Protestors have taken to the streets country-wide in the wake of his death, demanding change.
The funeral service was an emotional one with many coming out to pay their respects at the 2000-seat church in Houston. Due to the pandemic, the two-hour ceremony was limited to 500 guests though, reports People.
Jamie and Channing, who starred alongside each other in White House Down, wore matching white shirts and face masks like all the other guests, and appeared visibly emotional.
Both have spoken out amid protests, with Channing Tatum sharing a post on Instagram recently, detailing all the privileges one has "as a white person".

Jamie also got candid recently about taking his kids with him to protest George Floyd's murder.
"Having my kids with me at the protest was bittersweet," he wrote on Instagram. "Having them watch the world come together was beautiful… But having to explain to them why we were all there was heartbreaking... let's change the world so they don't have to live in it the way we have been..."

Many sporting stars also attended the service, while Ne-Yo performed Boyz II Men's It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday and Rev. Al Sharpton gave an emotional speech, reports Us Weekly.
"God took the rejected stone and made him the cornerstone of a movement that's going to change the whole wide world," the reverend said. "Your family is going to miss you George, but your nation is going to always remember your name."
