Ciara is the latest celebrity to try her hand at the #umlando dance challenge.
Captioning her post on social media, the Body Party hitmaker and mother-of-three said: "Ready to JUMP into the Wknd like [sic]."
The dance challenge went viral earlier this year when its originator, Toss, shared a short video of himself dancing to the song Umlando, which shot him to fame. In the video, Toss, whose real name is Pholoso Masombuka, vigorously shakes his waist against a wall, on a balcony, while pushing a dustbin and on a flight of stairs.
As the video and challenge gained popularity, hundreds of South Africans posted similar videos on social media. In the videos, South Africans were seen dancing from tabletops, on brick walls and cars, and even on top of dustbins.
Masomboka recently took to social media to thank his fans and followers for "i Vrostan" (the love). He said the song changed their lives and was still going strong, six months since its release.
Two weeks ago, the muso posted a video with a new challenge.
