Bachelor SA contestant Andeline Wieland has been announced as a Miss Supranational Namibia semi-finalist.
Andeline appeared in the second season of The Bachelor SA.
She was crowned Miss Teen Namibia in 2012 and first princess at the Miss Namibia 2016 pageant.

Former Bachelor SA contestant Andeline Wieland has been announced as a Miss Supranational Namibia semi-finalist.

The radiant red-head vied for the affections of Marc Buckner in the second season of the reality dating show, but it was Marisia van Wyk, who won over the model's heart.

Although she did not find love on The Bachelor SA, Andeline hinted in a recent post on her Instagram Stories, that she is in a new relationship.

Speaking to Channel24, she declined to disclose her relationship status.

The recent pageant news comes as no surprise, as she was crowned Miss Teen Namibia in 2012 and first princess at the Miss Namibia 2016 pageant. After that, she nabbed the prestigious Miss Continents 2017 title, which shaped her life and allowed her to focus on educating people on health as well as the negative impact of prejudice.

"Since being Miss Teen Namibia 2012 I have learnt to love serving my community wherever I am and have learnt that this truly adds to the wealth of your life," Andeline wrote on Instagram on Thursday, announcing her From The Ground Up project.

"I am nowhere near perfect. But pageantry has changed my life for the better, and if I could serve my country one more time, I promise to do my best to not only build up my own new NPO, but aid in as many other initiatives as possible," she added.

I entered @miss_supranational_namibia because of my love for community. @misssupranational focuses a lot on giving back to communities, and I can't wait to officially reveal my From The Ground Up project to everyone. Since being Miss Teen Namibia 2012 I have learnt to love serving my community wherever I am and have learnt that this truly adds to the wealth of your life. Luke 12:48 has always explained it so well for me "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." As an educated, privileged white and able bodied woman I find it my responsibility to assist where my help is asked for. I have been a Foster mom to puppies for Helderberg Animal Rescue Team, helped raise funds and supplies for several organisations such as @heart_npo. Aided in fashion and creative fundraisers like @bubbleswithbliss since its inception and through my own charity focused business @thesnowwhiteproject, donated more than N$65 000 to local charities and organisations. We've also committed to dressing & styling at least 5 matric students for matric farewell for free every year. I've had the immense honour of traveling to India to teach the local women in Delhi how to sew reusable bags and products that are sold to provide for their families. During Corona I could employ 7 elderly ladies part-time as they helped me sew masks when there was a shortage nation wide. And I keep going because I truly feel that this is what I was called to do. People tend to be bitter towards pageant contestants. Being beautiful in itself is not a bad thing, pretty Privilege exists! It is what you do or don't do with that privilege that determines what kind of person you are. (This is why I also wrote my honours thesis around this topic) I am nowhere near perfect. But pageantry has changed my life for the better, and if I could serve my country one more time, I promise to do my best to not only build up my own new NPO, but aid in as many other initiatives as possible.
