Lizzo is not about to let Liam Payne take ownership of One Direction.

The About Damn Time hitmaker shared a TikTok video of her thoughts about recent comments the former band member made about how the pop sensation group was put together.

Last week, Payne basically told Logan Paul that he was the band's star.

"From what I've heard, part of the reason One Direction was made was because of Simon's [Cowell] promise to me," Liam said on the episode of the Impaulsive podcast. "That in two years, I'll make this work for you. So, he kind of started with my face and worked out around the rest."

You may recall, One Direction was one of the biggest boybands to come from the X Factor in 2010 and was made up of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Payne and Zayn Malik - who have all pursued solo careers since announcing a hiatus in 2015.

During what Lizzo calls "a TikTok observation," she addressed Liam's comments saying, "I don't know who lied to that poor boy, but he was not the frontman."

The Juice singer, who has a close friendship with Styles, also spoke about other things, including Stranger Things, the Mona Lisa and Top Gun: Maverick actor Miles Teller.
