Kwaito musician Mshoza, whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi, died on Thursday.
The recording artist's manager Thanduxolo Jindela confirmed the news, saying: "The Kortes hitmaker succumbed peacefully in the early hours of this morning."
"She had been living with diabetes for a long time and she was treating it," he told Sowetan Live.
Speaking to Channel24 Thanduxolo confirmed that the artist died of complications from diabetes, adding that she tested negative for Covid-19.
The 37-year-old made public that she had been diagnosed with diabetes in 2014.
Mshoza is survived by her two children, Pride and Jacob Jnr Mnisi.
