Ne-Yo's wife files for divorce, claims he fathered a child with another woman

Ne-Yo's wife, Crystal Renay, has filed for divorce.

According to People, Renay filed for divorce earlier this week, saying in the documents the couple's marriage is "irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation".

The model, who shares three children with the Miss Independent hitmaker, claims in the divorce papers Ne-Yo fathered a child with another woman, and though they renewed their vows earlier this year, they've been separated since July.

Renay is asking the court for primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the couple's children, child support and alimony.

The news comes after the TV personality took to social media, speaking out about the singer's infidelity.

"8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous of women who sell their bodies to him unprotected... every last one of them!" she said in a statement shared on Instagram.

At the time, Ne-Yo commented: "My family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors."
