Friends and family gathered at the House of Treasures Ministries in Rispark, Johannesburg on Saturday to pay their final respects to kwaito artist Mshoza.
Celebrities in attendance included Khanyi Mbau, Jub Jub, DJ Olwee and Khanyo Maphumulo.
Mshoza, whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi, died on 19 November.
Speaking to Channel24, Mshoza's manager Thanduxolo Jindela confirmed that the artist died of complications from diabetes, adding that she tested negative for Covid-19.
Following the church service, the funeral procession moved to Westpark Cemetery in Montgomery Park where Mshoza was laid to rest.
The musician's tombstone was unveiled, which revealed an image of Mshoza with one foot on a globe - signifying that she "had the world at her feet."
