Following her three-day Miss South Africa homecoming tour, Shudufhadzo Musida looked back on the experience, saying: "It was nothing short of amazing."

Shudufhadzo, who hails from Ha-Masia in Limpopo, a village located in Vhembe District Municipality, arrived in Limpopo on Wednesday to celebrate her victory with her home province.

Her homecoming tour kicked off with a welcome from Limpopo premier Chupu Mathabatha, followed by a street parade and various charitable events throughout the three days.

"I was very nervous because I didn't know what to expect the morning of, and then we got to the street, and I saw like everyone waiting for me. Everyone celebrating," she said in an Instagram video. 

The 24-year-old added that she saw people running through the streets, following the convoy from the start to the very end.

Shudufhadzo said that the moment made her realise the importance of representation. "You realise that the crown is not only yours but the entire nation's," she said. 

"I am so blessed," she added, thanking everyone who came to show their support.
