Eastern Cape-born illustrator and fine artist Siphesihle Ntsungwana took to social media to thank Aubrey Drake Graham, better known as Drake, for changing his life as the singer and rapper celebrated his 36th birthday.

In August, Drake not only gave Ntsungwana a shoutout for the portrait he drew of him on his social media, the God's Plan hitmaker also used the portrait as a profile picture.

"Happy birthday, Drake," he wrote in the caption to the repost from Drake. "Thank you for changing my life."

In an interview with DRUM, Ntsungwana said the portrait was inspired by his wanting to express his enjoyment of Drake's latest album, Honestly, Nevermind. He added that he also "loved" that Black Coffee produced the album.

Meanwhile, Drake's son, Adonis, also celebrated his birthday earlier in the month. Adonis, who he shares with Sophie Brussaux, turned five.
