The coronavirus pandemic has kept many moviegoers at home as they turn to streaming to get their movie fix.

With the release of major blockbusters, such as  James Bond No Time to Die and Wonder Woman 1984, and the postponement of many more in production, it's hard to say when cinemas will get back on their feet again.

After being closed for four months, South African cinemas reopened in August and stringent hygiene and social distancing rules were put in place.
