There’s no boredom on the horizon! 

Whether you’re rolling solo or with a partner, M-Net Movies 1 has a romantic line-up of movies for the month of love.

Kicking off Valentine’s viewing is the heartfelt local film Late Bloomer.

Directed and executive produced by Amy Jephta (BarakatSkemerdans), the flick follows Lauryn, a woman for whom nothing is permanent – not jobs, relationships or even living arrangements. So not only must she confront the choices she’s made, but she also needs to contend with her changing body.

Late Bloomer stars Nicole Fortuin (Alles Malan, Die Boekklub) as Lauryn. Also staring in the romantic comedy is Danny Ross (Arendsvlei, Suidooster, Skemerdans), Monique Rockman (Suidooster, Gaia), award-winning comedian Kate Pinchuck, and award-winning stage actor Tankiso Mamabolo. 

Late Bloomer premieres on Saturday 12 February at 20:00. It will also be available on Showmax from Thursday 28 February 2022.
