A date has been set for Tom Cruise’s mission to space.

The actor will film his next big movie in space with the help of NASA and Elon Musk, with Edge of Tomorrow's Doug Liman set to direct, reports NME.

In a recent tweet, Space Shuttle Almanac confirmed the mission is set for October 2021 – it is also the first feature film that will be shot in outer space.

According to Metro, the untitled project has been given a $200 million budget by Universal.
