In a new video posted on YouTube, viewers can get a behind-the-scenes look at Ryan Gosling's iconic 'I'm Just Ken' scene.
Gosling plays the supporting role and semi-antagonist Ken in Barbie (2023), where he has a climactic scene in which he performs a power ballad with the other Kens of the film.
Uptown Funk hitmaker Mark Ronson and seasoned music maker Andrew Wyatt wrote and produced the song, released on 21 July 2023, along with the film.

The director of the film Greta Gerwig did not initially intend for the song to be included in the film, but she and Gosling loved the song so much, and he connected with it so deeply, that Gerwig rewrote the script after Ronson played it.
The song even made it onto the charts, despite it being an extended joke in the film.
It peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list and performed especially well in Sweden. The song currently has 48 million streams on Spotify.
Barbie has proved to be an international success, surpassing $1 Billion worldwide at the box office. Gerwig has also become the highest-grossing female director of all time.
