George Clooney is in a race against time to stop astronauts from returning home after the Earth's destruction in The Midnight Sky.
The post-apocalyptic film is based on the acclaimed novel by Lily Brooks-Dalton and centres on Augustine (Clooney) a scientist in the Arctic who has to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a global catastrophe.

Filming for the movie wrapped in February before the whole set was shut down by the coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, George, who also directed the film, said: "It's science fiction which unfortunately is less fictional as we move through the days."
The film premieres on Netflix, Wednesday 23 December.
