As the year 2023 comes to a close there are a couple of things that Gospel star Hlengiwe "HLE" Ntombela is thankful for, and chief among them is her sanity. 

The musician and TV presenter made history in 2022 as the first South African artist to sign an exclusive record deal with Christian music company, Motown Gospel. Reflecting on her wins in the background of her upcoming Thank God Fest in January 2024, the singer listed the things that have her thanking God.  

"Firstly, the opportunity to branch out in my career. I recently just came back from launching my career in the States and it went very well. But over and above that, it's also just as much been a very tough year. I've lost a lot of people this year, but somehow I still got my sanity.
