"No matter what part of my story you come in at, I'm always chasing the music," says Lizzo in the trailer for the upcoming HBO documentary.
The clip features footage of the singer as a little girl and details her rise to stardom from struggling to get signed to breaking out in the music industry.
"Music gave me the opportunity to be who I am," says the 34-year-old.
According to an official synopsis of the documentary titled Love, Lizzo "shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love and international stardom."
Lizzo shared the trailer on Instagram with the caption: "Taking ownership of my story— I'm nervous but excited to share with y'all….. Love, Lizzo."
