Two days ahead of AKA's birthday, rapper Nadia Nakai has dropped a tribute single dedicated to the late artist, titled Never Leave featuring KashCPT.

AKA was murdered on 10 February 2023, while he was leaving a Durban restaurant. Nakai, who was his girlfriend at the time, announced last year that she was working on a tribute EP.
