Riky Rick's Cotton Fest platform has teamed up with the Department of Arts and Culture to launch a digital series called Lab Live.
"As a build up to the 3rd annual Cotton Fest set to take place in February 2021, the Lab Live is an initiative powered and supported by The Department of Arts and Culture, set up to empower future industry players from the safety of their homes, in light of the current global situation," a press statement explains.
The educational series will be hosted by Riky Rick himself and will be broadcast on all Cotton Fest social media channels. Topics covered include "The Industry", "Your Brand", "Legalities and Royalties" and "Festivals and Brands".
The series will be available from 11 to 15 August and will feature industry experts like Melanie Ramjee, Bash Vision and Theresho Selesho.
Riky first launched Cotton Fest in 2019. The festival merges music and fashion, giving local talent a platform to shine.
