Following uncertainty about the location of this year's South African Music Awards (SAMAs)after the KwaZulu-Natal government pulled out of hosting the event, the organisers have confirmed where the show will be held.

It is set to be held in collaboration with the inaugural Africa Fest on 18 November at Time Square, in Pretoria, and will be broadcast live on SABC 1 from 20:00.

The awards were initially scheduled for the weekend of 17 and 18 November at the Durban International Convention Centre.
