Taylor Swift's 2014 album, 1989, has been on the Billboard 200 album chart for a record 300 weeks. 

According to Billboard, the singer now becomes one of just four women to achieve this feat. 

"1989 debuted at No.1 on the chart dated Nov.15, 2014, and has rarely been absent from the list since its arrival: It's been on the chart for 300 of the 307 weeks since it bowed [sic]," the publication writes. 

Taking the spot as Taylor's fifth studio album, 1989 brought us hits like Shake It Off, Blank Space, Wildest Dreams and Bad Blood

In its 300th week on the Billboard chart, the album ranked at number 116. 

Other female artists who have spent at least 300 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart are Adele with her album 21 (482 weeks), Lana Del Rey with Born to Die (364 weeks) and Carole King with Tapestry (318 weeks).
