Travis was supposed to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as a headlining act. His removal from the line-up was first reported by KESQ, but the rapper's team has yet to confirm any of the reports.
In the days following the Astroworld tragedy, a change.org petition was drawn up, demanding that Travis be removed from the Coachella line-up. The petition has received over 60 000 signatures.
According to Variety, a source says Travis' agent, Cara Lewis, has been informed of the festival's intentions to pull the rapper from its line-up, offering to pay a kill fee for the cancellation. Coachella announced its highly-anticipated return in June, after being postponed four times due to the pandemic.
The festival will take place between 15 and 24 April 2022.
