The phase 1 line-up for the 9th edition of the largest electronic dance music festival in SA will include popular artists like Skrillex, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Vintage Culture, W&W as headliners and Major League DJz and Shimza as supporting acts.

Skrillex, Afrojack and Steve Aoki are some of the biggest names in the global EDM scene, being major festival attractions. The South African amapiano duo Major League DJz also performed at Black Coffee's historic Madison Square Garden show.

The EDM festival will take place in Cape Town on 1 March 2024 at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse and also in Johannesburg on 2 March 2024 at Expo Centre at Nasrec.

Tickets for the event range from R1 095 to R2 500 for the Johannesburg edition and R895 to R2 000 for the Cape Town edition.

The SA festival, which debuted in 2014, is part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, present in 20 countries. In 2022, the festival announced its 2023 return after a three-year break.
