Even lockdown could not stop Nasty C from delivering an incredible music video. The rapper recently dropped his new track, Eazy, and with that, released a video that was filmed in SA during lockdown.

New regulations, brought about in Level 4 saw TV/Film crews allowed back on set once again, provided they adhered to strict rules.

In a behind-the-scenes clip shared on YouTube, those on set during the filming of Nasty C's video can be seen wearing face masks.

According to director, Allison Swank, the lockdown restrictions allowed them to be more creative in the way things were filmed.

"Strangely enough the restrictions around coronavirus and the lockdown here in South Africa has given us an opportunity to really try and like expand creatively what we do in the limited restrictions. We brought everything indoors, we're shooting it in one day with a small crew, and we just decided to do a lot of green screen stuff," she says in the clip.

GO BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF NASTY C'S EAZY MUSIC VIDEO:

The behind-the-scenes video shows Nasty C performing in front of a green screen, and even floating with the help of cables.

The end result is an out-of-this-world music video which depicts the star as a superhero, levitating in the clouds and controlling giant diamonds with his mind.

"The idea for the treatment came from Nasty C. He was thinking about superheroes - specifically a modern-day Zulu superhero," Allison explains.

The video for Eazy comes just days after Nasty C dropped his song, They Don't, with U.S. rapper, T.I. The track speaks openly about racial injustice and police brutality.
