A fan of Nasty C got a rude awakening when he was punched and kicked off stage when he jumped on and attempted to embrace the rapper during the Zambian leg of his and Cassper Nyovest's African Throne tour.

According to the tour dates, the pair were in Zambia on Sunday.

In a video shared online, the fan jumps on stage from the side and tries to dance with Nasty but is firmly pushed back. As he continues to try dancing with the rapper, he is met by punches, and later a kick from Nasty as security restrains him.

At the end of the brief video, the fan is escorted off the stage, and the music ends abruptly.

Nasty and Nyovest kicked off their tour in Swaziland at the beginning of the month. They have already performed in Kenya, Mozambique, Botswana, and Malawi.

The rest of the tour will see them take to the stage in Nigeria, Rwanda, Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

"The tour is an embodiment of unity, showcasing the power of collaboration. Our aim is to not only entertain but to inspire a new generation of artists to collaborate, innovate and push the boundaries of what African artists can achieve together," Nasty said ahead of the tour.

Nasty is not the only musician who has retaliated against a fan who did the unexpected while performing.

In July, Cardi B hurled her microphone at a fan who threw the contents of a tall plastic cup in her direction while she performed in Las Vegas. A month earlier, a fan threw a bag of their mom's ashes at Pink during the British Summer Time Festival.

Earlier in the same month, June 2023, Bebe Rexha was hit in the head by a phone during a performance in New York. The singer was taken to hospital for her injuries, which included a split eyebrow that required stitches.

Calling out the trend, Adele addressed the phenomenon during her concert in Las Vegas.

"I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me, and I'll fucking kill you," she said.
