NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-To-Consumer original production E! VIP is returning to E! Africa (DStv 124) for a second season at the beginning of January.

The new season will give insight into the lives and careers of Africa's high-profile celebrities from Sunday, 8 January. It will air weekly at 20:00, with episodes available on Universal+ immediately after.

E! VIP season two will feature celebrities such as Jo-anne Reyneke, Daniel Churchill, Boity Thulo, Yvonne Nelson, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Nasty C, Kate Kamau, Yemi Alade, Mihlali and Fireboy. Ghanaian star Sardokie will also give viewers a glimpse into his relationship with his daughter, Adalyn Owusu Adoo.

"I always believed that winning a BET, MTV or Grammy was my goal in life. But when I found out I was going to have a daughter, and then when she was born, she without a doubt became the most important thing in my life today," Sardokie said in a press statement. "She is the definition of real love and what real happiness feels like."

Speaking about the creative process in his work, he said he is an artist. He added that he got used to expressing his feelings through painting and sketching before falling in love with music by listening to it.

"It became therapy at a certain point; that's where I used to channel my energy."
