- Back to the Beach hitmaker Shekhinah was the latest local celebrity to be unmasked on The Masked Singer South Africa.
- Only six contestants - Tree, Elephant, Lollipop, Rhino, Fox and Lion - remain in the running to claim victory.
- Already, Makhadzi, Zozibini Tunzi, Mmusi Maimane, and David Kau, among others, have been unmasked.
Multi-award-winning musician Shekhinah rolled out of singing competition guessing game show The Masked Singer South Africa on a high note Saturday evening after being unmasked as Doughnut.
In her final performance, she sang Rihanna's Pon de Replay, which the detectives raved about.

"Listen, it felt as if I was in primary school again. I enjoyed it so much," Shekhinah said about her experience on the show. "It felt like I was back in the theatre. Thank you for bringing me that nostalgia vibe."
Before she was unmasked, Shekhinah gave clues that her life was saved by a couple when they adopted her and friend Kyle Deutsch who helped start her career with the hit single, Back to The Beach. She also revealed that she was eliminated from the top 6 on Idols SA.
Her exit comes as the competition intensifies with only six contestants - Tree, Elephant, Lollipop, Rhino, Fox, and Lion - still in the running to claim victory.
Last week, Makhadzi was unmasked as Sunflower.
Zozibini Tunzi was also previously unmasked as Robot, Devi Sankaree Govender as Watermelon, Mmusi Maimane as Warrior, David Kau as Hippo, Bongani Bingwa as Banana, Doctor Khumalo as Soccer Ball, Victor Matfield as Rooster and The Lazy Makoti as Zebra.

The Masked Singer South Africa airs Saturday on S 3 at 18:30 and SABC 1 at 20:00, with an additional repeat on Thursdays on SABC 1 at 21:00.
