While Euphoria fans wait for the second season of the Emmy winning show, HBO has announced two special episodes in the meantime.

Zendaya, who became the youngest Emmy winner for her role as Rue in the series, shared the news on Instagram. She wrote: "We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon."

The first episode titled Trouble Don't Last Always, written and directed by series creator Sam Levinson, will be available on Showmax on Monday 7 December. It will follow Rue as she celebrates Christmas, in the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and falling back into old habits.

Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules and Colman Domingo, who plays Ali, will also feature in the episode.

A title and release date for the second episode will be revealed at a later stage.

Catch up on season 1 available on Showmax.
