WATCH | Joe has never been this scared before in the trailer for You season three

"I never thought to wonder what happens after boy gets girl," says Penn Badgley  as Joe in the trailer for You season 3.

The 34-year-old reprises his role as the murderous stalker in the hit series based on the novels by Caroline Kepnes.

After a teaser introducing baby Henry the streaming service has released the full trailer for the new season.

In the opening scenes of the almost three-minute clip, Joe is getting used to his role of dad and husband to Love (Victoria Pedretti), who viewers met in season two.

But old habits die hard for our Joe, who soon finds a new obsession in neighbour Natalie (Michaela McManus). As you can imagine, Love does not deal well with this. In the scenes that follow, we see the pair going for couple's therapy, Love wielding an axe, Joe wrapping a body in a black bag, and ends with the killer pair seemingly burying a body while baby Henry coos in his car seat nearby.
