Another thing to add to the 'we didn't see this coming' list of 2020 is a KFC inspired movie.
Yes, you read that right; Kentucky Fried Chicken has partnered with Lifetime for a 15-minute short film titled, A Recipe for Seduction.
A silver fox, Mario Lopez, plays Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of the popular chain restaurant. And if you're wondering if it's real the channel tweeted: "It's real! @MarioLopezviva is Colonel Sanders."
According to a press statement the movie is "full of mystery, suspense, deception, 'fowl' play and at the heart of it all... love and fried chicken", reports CNN.
A zinger steamy holiday affair, the film centres on a young heiress whose mother has chosen a suitor for her. When a handsome young chef, with a secret fried chicken recipe and dream, arrives, the mother's plan unravels.

The film premieres in the US on Sunday 13 December via the channel's website and app.
