'Working to reverse charges': DStv again bills customers for Disney+ they did not ask for

MultiChoice has, for a second time, billed multiple DStv subscribers in South Africa for a Disney+ subscription the pay-tv company added to customers' invoices without them ever asking or agreeing to the service.

DStv subscribers are furious after discovering they are being billed for a Disney+ video streaming service through MultiChoice they do not want, did not request and never approved, with the Randburg-based operator saying it is working to reverse the charges.

This is the second time MultiChoice added Disney+ to DStv subscribers' accounts without notifying them and getting their explicit opt-in consent before adding the streamer to DStv bills.
