If there's one automaker that rarely deviates from its laurels, it's Suzuki. In this instance, the laurels are value for money and reliability, which have propelled the brand to heights as one of the top three best-selling automakers in South Africa (based on December 2023 Naamsa sales figures alone). 

The Suzuki Fronx (priced from R288 900) is a relative newcomer to the local compact SUV market, where it will do battle against the likes of the Kia Sonet (priced from R360 995), Nissan Magnite (priced from R232 500) and Hyundai Venue (priced from R328 900) – with the Fronx only usurped in pricing by the Magnite.

With the Fronx, Suzuki has once again introduced a well-placed model below the R300 000 price point, which is considered a sweet spot for buyers.
