Everyone knows that anything with Audi's RS badge is a potent performance creation, and now a special edition RS 6 Avant GT has joined the fray. What's enticing is that it's packed with some exclusive bits in all the right places.
Only 660 units of the model will be produced worldwide, with only a single unit available to buy in South Africa.
The look of a legend
Visually, the German brand drew inspiration from the iconic Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO race car from 1989 with the black, red and white decals. The bonnet is completely redesigned and, along with the fenders, is made from carbon fibre, while the chassis sits on large 22-inch wheels (wrapped in Continental "Sport Contact 7" 285/30 R22 tyres). The rear sees the placement of black "RS 6 GT" lettering, a functional diffuser, double wing, and flatter roof rails - the first time in the history of the RS 6 Avant.
