The “in it to win it” Man

This is a shout-out  to all those (few) real men out there – thank you. You allow us women to still have some faith in men. That’s a big job. Well done.

However, to your not so gentlemanly counterpart – Mr In It To Win It – do you know how tired your game is?

Cowards...

I have respect for people who are honest and upfront about who they are or have chosen to be. Ownership. Accountability. That works for me. Now, it’s the sneaky cowards I have a bit of trouble tolerating.

Come on, people, it is a new age. Are we really still into objectifying women? Is my body (and the pleasure you hope to gain from it) really more important than my brain, my opinion, my dreams, my conversation, my time, my love, my life?

Why are some men still allowed to consider our bodies, minds and hearts as so mutually exclusive that they feel they can only take the one that they want? And without consequence, too?

I am not saying that there aren’t even some women out there who may even prefer that, however I feel that I can safely assume that I speak for the majority of women who are tired of having men chase after us who are really just in it to win it. And lie about it.

At what point was it ever okay to just take what you want from people without being concerned about what that means to the person?

How selfish!

Well, Mr In It To Win It – I called you on your bullshit. Us ladies are becoming much better at this game. Watch out now.
