René Hurtado and Max Boschman have been Swifties (the name of Taylor Swift's fanbase) for years, and the bride has always envisioned the pop star playing a prominent role in her wedding. The artist is currently in Arizona on her Eras tour.
However, the couple first considered eloping and then celebrating their reception at the concert, but a friend of the bride suggested they tie the knot while Taylor performed on stage. The couple loved the idea and did so this past weekend. "It was really thrilling and exciting. I'm so glad we did it. It was really special, and the timing during the concert was so beautiful," René added.

The couple showed up in their wedding attire for the special day, where the bride was wearing a tea-length wedding gown with side cut-outs from Anthropologie, and the groom wore a black tuxedo from Indochino.
The maid of honour officiated the wedding while Taylor performed her song, 'Seven', and right after they said, 'I do', the artist performed 'Invisible String', one of the couple's favourite songs. The wedding was performed in the front row, where they paid $1000 (R18 515) for the tickets.

"We pretty much had the best seat in the house. It was really a wonderful experience. Our section was so supportive and sweet to us when they saw what we were doing," René added.
The bride took to TikTok to post a five-part series of the experience. In the first video, the bride said, "Anyone who knows me wasn't surprised I wanted to do this. I'm never normal. I'm always dramatic." Although the couple has already tied the knot, they plan to throw a larger reception with a Hip-Hop theme in March 2024.
