It is movements like Africa Your Time is Now, coined by Papama Mtwisha in 2017, that have accustomed the rest of the world to the continent's beauty. 

It is these efforts that have allowed Africans to show up in the world in an authentic and undiluted way that doesn't seek permission from Western influence.

Castle Milk Stout recently hosted a thought-provoking roundtable conversation around the misrepresentation of Africans in modern South Africa with radio host Thabo "Tbose" Mokwele, brand maverick Thebe Ikafaleng, Mzilikazi ka Afrika, musicians Buhlebendalo Mda and Mbuso Khoza.
