  • Some disgruntled people who have failed the loyalty test have called her names and said she ruins lives for a living.

Social media has made cheating easier because people start connections by simply sliding into DMs.

Those previously cheated on may live with the anxiety and insecurity that a new partner might do the same. Some become so desperate for answers that they seek ways to know for sure. Seemingly, some on social media have packaged services to help meet this demand.

If you want to find out if your partner is cheating, you can find out by hiring social media influencer Madeline Smith.

Her basic service starts from $45 (R830), depending on the investigation and case circumstances. Smith uses a "honey trap" to see if men are cheating.

She explained on The Factor-Uncensored that she slips into their DMs and gives the ultimate loyalty test. "I put out the bait and see if they take it. These women are coming to me as if they have already been experiencing infidelity, shady behaviour or lying in the relationship. The guy claims they have stopped and are not doing anything wrong." They then ask if Madeline can reach out to their partners with her profile.

"Depending on the situation, sometimes I check if they are interested in exchanging explicit pictures, if they are interested in meeting up or if they are going to deny they are in a relationship. I can either be a vessel of empowerment or someone on their side," she says.

Some disgruntled people who have failed the loyalty test have called her names and said she ruins lives for a living. But Madeline maintains she knows how to manage the backlash once the 'cheater' is ousted. "I am strategic in making sure I block communication."

Madeline has been threatened but says she does not fear for her life. Once she sends her clients the report, in this case, DM conversations, she detaches.
