'We get more needs met': Polyamorous woman, 60, credits thriving marriage to dating freely

A happily married woman has revealed that the secret to her thriving marriage is being able to date other people. Dr Lori Beth Bisbey says she did try out monogamy at one time – she previously had a monogamous marriage and her husband had two – but she discovered that the key to a successful relationship for her was non-monogamy.

Bisbey changed her relationship style when she realised that she was bisexual and didn't want to "give up a large part of [her] sexuality" by being monogamous. She said of her marriage: "We both were non-monogamous when we got together and agreed that was how our relationship would be run."
