A US couple has revealed what life is like in their polyamorous relationship.
Jess and Stephen DeMarco have been together for 14 years and have a third person in their relationship -- a girlfriend with whom they are both romantically involved. The married couple also has a baby on the way.
"People think our relationship isn't going to work because we're having a baby now," Jess told The US Sun in an interview, adding that people question if they will stop their "crazy behaviour" now that they have a child on the way.
But after struggling to have a baby for years, Jess says she's confident their unique situation will benefit their family.
"Now that we're pregnant, we do like to show the more real 'it takes a village' point of view."
In a clip shared on TikTok, Jess and Stephen explained their relationship to followers.
"Yes, my husband has another girlfriend, and I'm pregnant," she wrote. "But I'm not worried about losing him to her, 'cause even though it's HIS girlfriend, I date her too! This baby will have 3 parents."

Jess and Stephen, who aren't legally married (they have not signed papers), had an instant connection when they first started dating years ago.
But early on in the relationship, Jess, who is bisexual, knew she wanted to date women too but did not want to lose Stephen.
"Instead of dating separately and potentially going on two different paths to eventually break up in the future, we just figured we're a great catch as a couple; let's find a girl that can vibe with us both," she explained.

The pair only date bisexual women who are interested in both of them.
"Since we want to be a closed triad or a throuple. It's two girls that are bisexual and a straight guy, and he just kind of gets the best of both worlds," Jess said.
"We make sure that if it's not a fit for the family and the house, then it's not a good fit for everybody."
In another viral TikTok, Jess shared: "Yes, I'm polyamorous and pregnant. This is my husband of 14 years, and this is our girlfriend. I date him, he dates her, and I date her. We're all excited to spoil this baby together."
