Dating in today's society can be quite challenging as we realise the type of problematic people in the dating pool every day. Conversations online reveal these people for us.

For example, we went from toxic individuals who create toxic relationships even if they're dating a mentality-healthy person to love bombers who use loving gestures to manipulate. Recently, we've learnt that we are going through a pandemic of 'sassy men'.

Relationship coach Tisia Saffold weighs in on how you can attract the love you desire. Tisia told Fox 5 Washington DC hosts that men and women must realise, "You get the person you breed."

Therefore, if you want a peaceful relationship, you must bring peace. She also noted that it is vital to heal past traumas, which may impact how you behave and perceive love. "Do the work and heal those past wounds." The second point she made related to knowing the relationship dynamic you want.

"If you want to get married and have children one day and you're intentional about it, you cannot date someone who's divorced and possibly never want to get married again. Whatever a man says he wants, he's likely not changing his mind. You being a great woman, won't change his mind." She continued to add that the energy you bring into the dating pool will determine the love you receive.

"You have to be positive, and it should come out of your pores." She concluded by saying you shouldn't settle, no matter if the clock is ticking, manifest the life and relationship you want.
