  • Not all brides feel their absolute best on their wedding day.
  • For Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Danielle Cabral a redo made her dream come true.
  • The reality star says she didn't feel pretty on her wedding day because her hair was "horrible".

The are many reasons why brides might not feel their absolute best on their wedding day, from being late and not having the dress they wanted to the fact that with every decade comes new wedding styles making the ones in the previous decade look bad.

'Real Housewives' star Danielle Cabral didn't feel pretty on her wedding day ten years ago, so she decided to take new ones on her ten-year anniversary to her husband Nathan 'Nate' Cabral.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's latest cast member addition says she would rather be 'boujee than basic' - recently posed for a series of new wedding shots with her husband Nathan Cabral for a spread of the 2023 spring/summer edition of Sophisticated Weddings.

The couple agreed to be part of the photoshoot because Danielle didn't like her look at her wedding back in 2012. "I did not feel pretty on my wedding day. My hair was horrible and started the day on a sour note," Danielle says.

The bride says she looked forward to the day when she'll get to have a do-over, and now that Sophisticated Weddings has provided the opportunity, she's grateful for it. "This shot has been a dream of mine since my honeymoon. I just wanted to feel like a beautiful bride," she added.

For the first spread, the bride wore a figure-hugging gown by Ines Di Santos from White House Bridal. The dress had a low scoop back, with ruffles and sequins, paired with a headpiece by Bridal Styles and jewellery from Roman Jewelers.

For the second spread, she wore a strapless dress with a beaded bodice, a tulle skirt by Monica's Bridal, diamond drop earrings, and a necklace and bracelet.

"My favourite part of the shoot was definitely getting to try on so many stunning dresses but also getting to wear the glamourous headpieces. I didn't have that on my wedding day. The dresses, the jewellery, the flowers, the glam team - all of it! I have dreamt of it for so long." When Danielle looked at their images, she said, "10 years looks good on us."

The publication is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble.
