American couple Kimberly Weglin and Ryan Jenks tied the knot in a ceremony that reflects their personalities as individuals and together as a couple. They had a ceremony in Moab, Utah, on a makeshift spiderweb as they enjoy slacklining and wanted to incorporate it in their wedding.
Slacklining is a sport which involves walking on a strip of webbing strung loosely between two points, it's similar to walking a tightrope.
Every year, the couple attended a slacklining festival in Moab called the GGBY Festival. They fell in love with the festival scenery so much so that they had their wedding ceremony there.

They say they wanted to raise awareness about slacklining, the sport they love and one which brought them together. "We've always done it together, and this festival is something we’ve always gone to together, so we thought it’d be a great place to get married,” Kimberly told Fox 47 News.

The thrill-seeking couple travels around the world doing highlining and slacklining to take in the scenery. "That's our whole life. We didn’t really change anything about our lives to make this wedding happen, which I think is the interesting part that a lot of people don't realise. We live this lifestyle every single day," Kim added.

Although the couple is experienced in doing slacklining, unfortunately some of their guests weren’t so familiar with the sport, like the bride’s father. As he was walking his daughter down the aisle the father almost tripped and fell.
“There’s this photo of him, it’s the best photo, it’s one of my favourite photos of the wedding. And he walked me down the aisle, and he made it out there and said, ‘I’ve never done anything like this',” the bride adds.
