  • A viral video of a bridesmaid holding the groom's hand broke the internet.
  • Newly-wed bride Heather posted a series of wedding photos and found one disturbing picture.
  • However, the bride and her husband later explained what was going on the moment the pictures were taken.

Weddings come with a fair share of drama and confusion. After all, it is a busy day.

For one bride, her day went as planned and was as special as she had hoped. However, when she received her wedding day pictures, she saw something upsetting.

She took to TikTok to share with users that one of her bridesmaids was holding hands with her new husband while staring at his groin.

Newly-wed Heather Lynn and Travis tied the knot in October. Heather took to TikTok to share a video she captioned "Getting your wedding photos back and noticing something".

The video – a series of photos taken on her wedding day – has gained more than 18 million views.

Users of the platform were shocked and called the maid of honour all sorts of names. One said "A maid of dishonour" while another added "A sister wife? I'd be getting a divorced".

Heather and her husband Travis responded to the divorce comment by posting an update on the video and explained what was going on in the photos.

"Now to answer the big question 'Are we still married?', Yep, we're still married," Heather said before her husband popped in on the video.

"So, a bunch of you speculated what happened, and she was just losing her balance and was grabbing on me. The photographer told the bridal party to do a face pose while my wife and I were kissing, and she did and almost fell over," Travis added.

"Sorry to disappoint everybody who wanted me to be a cheater and the bridesmaid to be a homewrecker. That is not actually what happened."
