Beautiful designs for men and women to wear to weddings was on show during Arthur Browne Model Coaching’s Bride Show held on 21 October.

Browne said he aimed to do something different.

“We did not want to do a normal fashion show; we wanted to make it something fun and entertaining,” Browne explains.

He presented a show with stages of a wedding as the theme, presented as would a glorious wedding day be. First, the ceremony; then the reception; the first dance; the cutting of the wedding cake; and, of course, the tossing of the wedding bouquet.

He said the aim of the show was to give the models the experience to grow and provide designers, hair stylists and other fashion-related companies a chance to display their work. Four designers supplied the evening’s outfits: Mendylu Fashion provided the flower girl’s dresses, Viléste Couture the groomsmen suits, Sade Jansen the bridesmaids’ dresses, and Calves the bridesmaids’ evening wear and wedding dresses.

Browne said it was important to him to created opportunities for the models to grow and show their talents in public.

Marnus Moolman, also a model at AB Model Coaching, was the master of ceremonies. He is a semifinalist in the Red Carpet Presenter Search to find a presenter for Mr South Africa 2023.
