The Lotus flower, blooming fresh and pure each morning amidst murky and muddy waters, serves as a reminder that even in difficult times, hope and growth are possible. This makes it the perfect symbol for a mom and daughter duo, who recently launched their own skincare brand, right here in Jeffreys Bay.

Alannah Jones, of Lotus Breath Skincare, was inspired by the lotus flower to create products that symbolise growth, beauty, and resilience – and to be more than just a collection of products, but a message of hope and empowerment. Alannah and her mother Hulde are the co-owners of Lotus Breath Skincare.

“Our products are crafted to cleanse the skin, without stripping it of its natural oils. We believe you should embrace your unique beauty, and our products are designed to enhance that. With the right ingredients, you don’t need a complex routine or an arsenal of products. We believe in the power of simplicity, and that less is more,” says Jones.

Their commitment is providing customers with high-quality skincare that delivers results, all while promoting natural, radiant, and healthy skin. There are a variety of products to choose from, ranging from cleansers and toners to serums and masks, amongst the range.

“I strongly believe in the power of natural and organic ingredients for the skin. That’s why we founded our brand with a mission to provide simple, effective skincare that nourishes and protects the skin using only premium quality natural and organic oils.”

The dynamic duo has recently launched an online store where all their products can be viewed and purchased, alongside an array of inspirational quotes and messages. You can find them at lotusbreath.co.za, and on social media under Lotus Breath Skincare, as well as via email at info@lotusbreath.co.za.
