The finalists have been chosen, and the finale of the PE Express and UD Express Matric Dance competition, in aid of CANSA, will take the form of a fashion show in which the finalists will participate under the guidance of Gail Brown from Sophisticate Models.
It will be held on Saturday, October 28, at 14:00 at the Dutch Reformed PE West Church hall, 59 5th Avenue, Newton Park.
Fifteen boys and 15 girls will participate in the PE Express section of the competition, and there are 10 girls and eight boys who are finalists in the UD Express competition.
Friends and family can buy tickets at R80 to attend. Light snacks will be served. There will be lucky draw prizes for members of the audience.
All funds go towards CANSA.
There are cash prizes for the top three in each category, and the girl and boy winners will appear on the front page of PE Express for Gqeberha matriculants and UD Express for matriculants from the Kariega area.
Liezel Steenkamp of Pro Design Photographers will photograph the event, and a studio will be set up for family and friend shoots. Photos can be ordered directly from Steenkamp on the afternoon of the event.
