Le-Anne de Kock’s chicken noodles
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken fillets cut into cubes
- 250 g diced bacon
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 tin mushroom soup
- 1 tbsp apricot jam
- 125 ml mayonnaise or plain yoghurt
- 500 g shell noodles
Preparation
Step1: Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Step 2: Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
Step 3: In a pan, fry the bacon and chicken cubes.
Step 4: Mix soup, jam and mayonnaise/yoghurt together.
Step 5: Add all ingredients to the cooked noodles and mix well.
Step 6: Top with grated cheese and bake in oven for 45 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Step 7: Serve with a garden salad and fresh bread rolls.
