Man shot dead in Blikkiesdorp

A man was shot dead in Blikkiesdorp, Kamesh on Thursday, November 10.

Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that at approximately 11:40, SAPS Kamesh members attended to a complaint of a body lying in Bath Street.

"On arrival, the body of 40-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his head. The motive and suspects are unknown at this stage," Naidu said.

A case of murder is under investigation.

Anyone who can assist police in tracing the suspect(s) is asked to contact D/Sgt. Benjamin Van Wyk on 071 475 1946.
