SPONSORED: A place for everything and everything in its place – from a fridge to a battery system and a roof tent!

Campmaster is known for their trailers but have just stepped into the camping trailer market with the launch of the Wilderness 300. This sturdy camping trailer is built with a combination of 1mm and 4mm galvanised steel, a ladder underframe with an axle rated at 1200kg and six leaf springs on each side. It’s aimed at campers, anglers, hunters and DIY enthusiasts who like to equip a trailer their way. The strong build enables it to take on almost any rough back road, with the wheel track being as wide as that of a bakkie or off-road vehicle, making it easier to pull through sand. The trailer is also light enough to be hooked up to a sedan.

The loading area has 1,3 cubic metres of space and can carry up to 370kg, so there will never be too little space for your things. What’s more, the nose offers more packing space – or the option to fit a 12V battery system.

The drawer is fitted to the left of the trunk, just before the axle, and is ideal to fit a camping fridge. The trailer also features two 12V plugs that draws power from your vehicle: one inside the drawer for the fridge and another on the outside at the back for a strong camping light.

On both sides of the outside loading area are jerry can and gas bottle holders, as well as cabinets to store tools and tentpoles. On the hood, which is lifted with two gas struts, is a roof rack on which you can pitch a tent, with the perfect space at the back for a camping table. All the doors and the hood can be locked, and two corner struts at the back help to keep the trailer standing strong and even.
