We recently stopped at Sunset Dam near Lower Sabie in the Kruger Park to have our morning coffee. We noticed a giant kingfisher on the wall of the weir – it called out incessantly.
A second kingfisher landed right next to the first one. They glared at each other for a long time, then suddenly grabbed each other by the throat.
